Not long now until our Vintage Fashion Fair on 9 September……

I hope everyone is still making the most of the summer…..this is just a reminder for your diary that our next fair is on 9 September. Lots of great vintage pieces to start collecting for your autumn/winter wardrobe. Leather seems to be out in force for this next season in the way of coats, biker jackets, trousers, skirts. Originals of these 70′s/80′s fashions can be sourced at the fair. We will have our usual wonderful collection of 40′s/50′s fashions including stylish coats and jackets, dresses for day and evening wear.
When you feel like taking a refreshment break the Nice Green Cafe is onsite offering a selection of delicious homemade snacks and lunches in this pretty vintage eaterie.

Summer Style…at our Vintage Fashion Fair on 8 July

This will be the last chance before our summer break to stock up on great fashion buys for the remainder of the summer. Lots to inspire you – elevate your street style with a vintage holiday look. Make a splash with gorgeous vintage swimsuits and playsuits. Source denim outfits from 60′s and 70′s, and find tops and skirts to put together with an array of clashing prints.
At this fair we can offer hair styling and make up from the 20′s – 70′s whichever look takes your fancy!
The Nice Green Cafe is situated in Cecil Sharp House for that much needed snack or lunch break with delicious home made food and sweet treats – just whats needed after a morning or afternoon’s serious shopping!!
This will be our last fair until 9 September so hope to see all of our regular shoppers and lots of new faces as well……

The first fair of 2011 was buzzing………

It was lovely to see the return of our vintage fashion followers last Sunday at Cecil Sharp House. As expected we had a high number of visitors to the fair who all seemed to be having a fun time shopping, trying and buying.
Our stallholders surpassed themselves with their selection of gorgeous vintage items. The stalls selling 40′s and 50′s chic was very busy at all times and the selection and quality amazing.
Hats of all different era’s also seemed to be very popular, a wide choice – small feathered and eyecatching to large brimmed and saucy ones with net and flowers. For anyone looking for an unusual head piece for a special occasion look no further than the vintage fairs.
I’m afraid no fair during February but all the more time to get ready and look forward to the fair on 13 March!
As always a certain amount of free tickets will be up for grabs in a couple of weeks time. So keep checking the website…..
