Lunch/Tea Party Treat at the Vintage Fashion Fair on Sunday 19 May….

In addition to our Vintage Fashion Fair on 19 May we are offering a Vintage Lunch/Tea Party Treat along with entertainment from the fabulous 1940′s singing and dancing act ‘My Favourite Things’.

Our Vintage Package costs £10.00 (in advance from Eventbrite) or on the door on the day…

* Entrance to the Vintage Fashion Fair for some great shopping.

* A lunch or tea consisting of delicate finger sandwiches, a selection of delicious cakes and a pot of tea or coffee.

* All served on vintage china at pretty table settings.

* Entertainment from ‘My Favourite Things’ who will be performing at 11.30 a.m., 1.00 p.m. and 3.30 p.m.

This is a very special price for our first lunch/tea time treat at the Vintage Fashion Fair.

Please feel free to dress in your finest vintage attire.

At our Vintage Fashion Fair on 19 May there will be a new section dedicated to Vintage Homewares…..

To complement our Vintage Fashion Fairs we are introducing a new section which will stock Vintage Homewares. This will include items with a shabby chic appeal, small furniture, tableware, glassware, lamps, linen and more.

As always there will be a large and beautiful collection of authentic vintage fashion to choose from. As warmer days are now approaching the choice of pretty summer dresses and outfits will be in abundance. Classic 40′s and 50′s dresses made in crisp cotton fabrics in a variety of colours and patterns, chic handbags and lots of other accessories. A variety of 60′s shift and mini dresses in fantastic prints, in fact a hugh choice across the era’s 20′s – 80′s.

When you are ready for a break the Nice Green Cafe is situated within Cecil Sharp House serving delicious lunches and snacks all homemade with natural ingredients.

If you go to the website one week before the fair we will have some free entry tickets on offer…..so look out for these!

Do come and join us at Cecil Sharp House for our vintage fashion fair on Sunday 14 April. Lots of lovely vintage fashion items for sale as well as jewellery and accessories, surely by mid April we will be able to think about wearing some spring like clothes and shedding our winter woollies! As always a great selection to be had. Always a good idea to come as early as possible to source the best items and to find some great bargains….

When you are ready for lunch, afternoon tea or just a snack the Nice Green Cafe is on site with their delicious selection of homemade food.

Some free tickets will be available from the website a week before the fair – so keep a look out!

Choose an unusual item of vintage clothing for a chic and stylish look. Even if you only have a small amount to spend you can find a beautiful silk scarf or pretty vintage necklace which will compliment any outfit. Or if you are looking for something for a special occasion then a range of vintage designer pieces such as Dior, Chanel, Ossie Clark and many more will be there waiting to be found…..

Very best wishes to all of our vintage fashion followers for a happy, healthy and prosperous 2013! When everyone is recovered from the excesses of the festive season I think perhaps some vintage shopping is in order….our first vintage fair is at the end of January. Take advantage to treat yourself to a stylish vintage coat or jacket, lots to choose from and prices are certainly affordable. Look for cosy vintage cardigans and sweaters to add a unique and chic look to any outfit.

There is a lot of 70′s style on the high street this season, why not source your own original pieces at the fair, nothing looks as good as the real thing!

We will be offering a certain amount of free tickets for the fair on 27 January, these will be available from the website so keep a look out…….
